Welcome to the 2024-2025 Downey High School Band and Color Guard family! As we embark on the new school year we are excited to have the opportunity to support our award winning program as it continues to grow. Our booster organization proudly supports the Downey High School Band and Color Guard programs. Performances and competitions throughout the year include football games, pep rallies, field tournaments, parades, band reviews, winter guard competitions, concert festivals, winter and spring concerts for our families and community audiences.
We support Downey High School music programs by helping and enabling our students to learn, grow, and continue a tradition of music excellence. We are the largest funding mechanism supporting these programs. Funds cover transportation, coaching staff, competition entry, musical equipment, uniforms, and other operating expenses for the year. We meet each month during the school year. Parents and guardians are welcome at all meetings and are encouraged to get involved.
